Besides Earth, there is another planet with intelligent life. Its inhabitants are similar to humans, but they are distinguished by the conditions in which they exist. They used to chase progress, just like humanity, but when their homeland began to die, the population realized that everything needed to change. They completely abandoned modern technology and animal killing. They switched to gathering and now eat only what nature provides. One of their representatives is Mila, whose mother was a dugout woman. She decided that she wanted to visit Earth to see how her parents lived. Once in our world, Mila was shocked by what was happening, because everything here was different from her home. She realized that people will destroy their own kind and the planet if they do not come to their senses in time. The main character of the movie Beautiful Green meets Dr. Max, who will become her guide in the world. He shows the girl different places, but she doesn't change her mind and believes that all life will soon die. The heroine doesn't understand people because they eat meat and can kill an animal without regret. Mila had telepathy and could use it to change a person. She decided to use her gift to change the situation. The heroine began her journey, and now life on Earth has begun to change rapidly. However, will Mila be able to change what has been shaped for thousands of years on her own?
