In a fairy-tale world where icy winds and extraordinary kindness manifest as Christmas miracles, Frosty (1964) brings you into the incredible beauty and magic of Ukrainian folk mythology. This is a French fairy tale film directed by Alexandre Roe and Georges Didiou and based on the famous Ukrainian fairy tale. In this fascinating movie, you will meet Frosty, the cold spirit of winter who has extraordinary magical powers. His duty is to condemn the evil and exceptional god Midget, who is trying to destroy humanity and everything that is good in the world. He awakens cruelty and envy in himself, trying to punish the innocent, but Frosty sets out to save them. In the movie, you will be impressed by the unusual aesthetics and deeply developed characters. The main characters, Frosty and the beautiful girl Nastya, are connected by a thin thread of fate, revealing the interaction of suffering and hope, love and sacrifice. They are able to fascinate the audience with their emotions and real feelings, transporting them primarily to the wonderful world of Ukrainian fairy tales.
